Unity believes in the power of prayer. Whatever the circumstance, there is nothing more powerful than God, there is nothing more healing than Love, and there is nothing more calming than Peace. With God, all things are possible. We have provided the following prayers to help you center your thoughts and open your heart. These prayers are only to get you started, for your own words are just as powerful as these, and all power is in the silence, when we go beyond words and surrender all that we are to God. We will hold you in prayer for 30 days and then send your prayer request to Silent Unity, to be prayed over for the next 30 days. HEALING Source of All That Is, I release all worry, all anxiety, all belief in illness, and turn all my thoughts to You, God. I ask for a miracle! I think positive thoughts and place my faith in Your power to heal me totally and completely. Remaining centered in your healing presence, I open the door to renewed health and cross the threshold to vitality and well-being. I surrender all that I am to You, gentle and loving Spirit, knowing that I am being guided to my highest good. Thank you, God, Amen. Affirmation: I choose God and open the door to renewal and health. FORGIVENESS Dear God, Knowing there is no better way to love myself or another than to forgive, I whole-heartedly and without reservation let Your love flow through me. I forgive myself. I forgive the ones who seemed to cause me pain, releasing hurtful memories that only keep me from living my life fully now. I give myself permission to get on with my life As I forgive, I let go of the past and let unconditional forgiveness live in my heart. I am bringing harmony, peace, and joy back into my life and into the world. I thank God that the past is gone and I am totally free! Amen. Affirmation: When I forgive, I am letting God love through me. FAITH Dear God; My faith in You helps me in all that I do. I can go through any change with courage and enthusiasm when I take a leap of faith - leap in mind and heart that takes my attention off the many things that could go wrong and places it on You, God. My faith is in You, the Source of my Being - not the temporary distractions around me. I think about the Your goodness and how it is always available to me. I trust You with all my heart, so how could I possibly fail? Standing firm in my faith, I let You guide me through this adventure called life! Thank You, God, Amen. Affirmation: My faith is strong - strong enough to support me in the adventures of life! GUIDANCE Dear God, Thank You, God, that my decisions are being guided, even when I don't realize it. My step will never falter when I rely on Your guiding influence. As I follow the Divine Guidance continually provided by You, God, I find that my life is blessed. And if the path I choose seems to hit a dead end, I can know that I am there for a reason, that there is something in that situation that I need to become aware of and release in order to be closer to You. LOVE Dear Gentle Spirit, Thank you for loving me with an everlasting love that supports me and encourages me to do and be my best. Knowing that You love me unconditionally frees me to be who I am. INNER PEACE Source of Infinite Stillness; I listen to the inner voice, a whisper or a thought, that invites me to take time out. I answer the call to peace as I turn within, become quiet, and know that I am in the presence of God, the source of peace. In the silence, I let my mind and my body know how it feels to be peaceful. The warm glow of peace rises within me - relaxing any tension in my neck and shoulders, calming my stomach, and regulating my heart and blood pressure.
